About IPV Litigation Services
OUR HISTORY
The roots of IPV Litigation Services stretch all the way back to the 1950s, when Pittsburgh firefighter Joseph L. Murphy began working as an arson investigator. Thanks to his skills as both a photographer and firefighting investigator, he was regularly asked to testify at trials and quickly became a trusted local authority.
As his reputation grew throughout the legal community, attorneys in Pittsburgh began hiring him as an investigative photographer. By the mid-’60s, he formed Investigative Photography.
In 1987, an injury pushed Joseph to retire, and he passed the company along to his son, Martin (“Marty”) Murphy. For more than three decades, Marty expanded the company’s offerings, gradually adding in videography services and other cutting-edge legal support applications — and consistently reinvested in the latest technologies.
Today, Marty has passed the day-to-day management reins over to Bryan Ghingold, who brings with him more than a decade of business and videography experience. Under Bryan Ghingold’s leadership, IPV Litigation Services still practices the same values the company was founded on nearly 70 years ago: Integrity, Honesty, and Unparalleled Quality Work.
